If my life should fall away
If my life should fall away
I'd not regret the affirmations
and if perhaps I presently passed
I'd not regret the interogations
this I know
never give less than your best
never hesitate to confess
love is more than I told you so
recovery is more than letting go
discovery is harder than I thought
don't take away more than what you brought
though you may give less than you recieve
always say goodbye when you leave
devotion goes beyond comprehension
salaciousness isn't condescenion
we secretly crave the caring attention.
some failure is covert divine intervention
some success results from random chance
a dance is sometimes just a dance
If you think she's cute, just say hello
if you adore her, better let her know
and if you want to say it very much
don't say it with words
say it with touch
If my life should fall away
I've lived to learn to love today
and if perhaps I presently passed
I do not regret that I asked
