I'll Walk Away
If you tell me
you don't want
me, that you can
do without. If you
can look me in
the eyes and
tell me yo don't
care for me, then
I'll walk away.
Without a word
if you like. I
would never want
someone I love
to be in pain
because of me.
So if you can
say that you're
better off without
me, and you don't
want me around
anymore, then
I'll walk away,
knowing I've
finally learned
my lesson. You
see for some
reason I'm always
good with relationships
until about a month
then something happens
and I'm pushed out
of sight. So
just tell me that
I like you more
than you like me,
that you caould
never like me like
that and I'll walk
away. Be kind with
my heart, for you
are holding it in
your hand, just drop
it and walk away no
need for stepping or
stabbing. If turn and
walk one way
I'll turn and
walk the other.
I'll let you be
happy...I told you
I was crazy but you
didn't listen you
laughed and replied,
"Or we all are." I
sure surprised you,
with all this talk didn't
I. I bet you thought you'd
never have to worry
about this, because
I'd never have to courage
to do it...well SURPRISE!
It's amazing what you
can accomplish when you
don't care anymore.
However, I wouldn't suggest
it, it's not a happy life.
But it's brought me to this,
so if you ask me to...
I'll just walk away.
