you are my love

When the cold wind of fear blows hard on me,
I run to your arms to be reassured.
You close the door on insecurity,
and time and trouble finds themselves ignored.

When small stones on my path of progress,
join to become a boulder I cant lift.
You come to me with your smiling kindness,
and turn the boulder to grains I can sift.

When dark thoughts blind meand I cant find my way,
and stumbling, falling, I begin to cry.
Your words, the morning star before the day,
shines, and darkness finds itsself denied.

  you move the earth,
  and murmur with the dove.
you are hope, you are life,
  you are my love.
