What We Need
Forget the dream
It's gone
By now
The time
In between
Was too great
Dreams move on
If you wait
Too long
And so
It ended
Long
Long ago
And it's true
That when
One dream dies
Another takes
Its place
Still its not
The same
Quite honestly
It should not be
So, things are now
Different
The old refused
To remain
In came the new
With a overdone flourish
More a pretty show
Then something of substance
But we all seem
To take
What we can get...
Every now and then
We get what we deserve
Rarely we get what we want
More often than not
We get what we need
