My rose
For Valentine I gave you a rose
You gave me nothing, I didn't want a gift
But at least a kiss and your company
(Is that to much to ask?)
The rose was beautiful
I saw it in your eyes
Red and big
Just like my love for you
A flaming hot fire
you Put it in a vase
(That realy surprised me)
In your room
(If you would only take care of me like that)
And when it started to die
You didn't throw it away
You pressed it and hung it by your bed
(You get extra points for that one)
It's still there, after all this time
But it died just like our love did
At least you gave it a place in your room, above your bed
It's a memory you haven't thrown away
( Just like you did with me )

Because that means so much to me
