The sun has always shined on you
Yet darkness surrounded my soul
It was missing your love
You are the one to make me whole
From a thousand parts
I tried to put my life together
I worked a thousand hours
Yet something made it fall apart
What is this endless melancholy
That filled my empty heart
Its you, your love, your passion
That were missing from my life
I gave up on love
Till the day I met you
And my heart stood still
In midst of soundless symphony
I saw love
When I first saw you
And felt its tenderness
When I first kissed you
Now I stand here with you
Reaching out I take your hand
