Twisted Fate
Twisted fate
has set me
here in front
of you, to learn
and teach, that you
can indeed move on.
All the hurt I've
suffered inside
seems worth it when
I think that it
has brought me
closer to you.
Twisted fate
hath hidden my
heart only to
unveal it to
your blind eyes.
For you're to take
with gentle care
my hope into
your hands.
Twisted fate
led me to you
to understand the
truth, I fall
in love too easily
only to get hurt.
My twisted fate
taught a lesson
to me one which I'm
reminded of daily,
that love without
reason does not
work out and that love
with a reason does
not exist.
