Once upon a time
Once upon a time we were in love.
Once upon a time you rose far above.
Once upon a time you were so very true.
Once upon a time ended without a clue.
Forever forgotten is the love we shared.
Sinister plans and deceitfulness was bared.
Jazzy blues and chocolate describe me to a T.
You change so much, this I now can see.
We'll always have that once upon a time.
But now you've hidden you heart, like no words from a mime.
I wish you'd give me some answer, just some sign.
How could it have changed from me being yours and you being mine?
