Unheard
Unseen
Indirectly
Disrupted
The change was slight
Yet oh-so-great
The time cut short
The gap widened
Ever-so-much
The understanding
Hardly understood
And what was crucial
Disappeared
All that remains
Is seemingly comprised
Of nothing
Of shadows
Of darkness
And tears...
Constancy is a promise
Often broken
Rarely kept
And this tired skin
Of mine
Is the only thing
Keeping me
Together...
