Oh, to pick up the phone
and hear him say hello
my heart jumps a little
and he laughs as if he knows
he whispers into the phone
low and raw with emotion
he knows I find it sexy
and he's pleased with the notion
and even when we're far apart
at night when we're on the phone
I hold his words close to my heart
and I don't feel so alone
