Why?
Why must love always end in tears
making our next relationship full of fears
why must love always end in heartache
and always my heart the one to break
why must love grow and fade so fast
why cant it just ever seem to last
we fall in love so quickly with our feelings growing stronger
never knowing that falling out of love always takes much longer
we hand away our heart in hopes it wont be hurt
but every time we give it out, it ends up in the dirt
we find the perfect person, our feelings growing faster
but in the end, its always the same, ending with disaster
why must love always end with some one torn apart
not knowing what will happen with our precious hearts
why must love never end the way we wish it would
some one getting hurt is never any good
why must love always end and never last for long
no matter what happens, something's always wrong
there's some one out there for every one, just hard to come across
and once you find them, words will be at a loss
but once you make that special find
you'll have a feeling so divine
that you'll forget your poor hearts past
and work on making this special love last
why must love take so long?
because all the rest made you strong
