By distant moon
Date: 4 December 2000
04. Devils Advocate
Playing in the park with toys and children
He fritters and wastes the day away
So wishing for the world to call
He wakes to find the desolate
Again his screams are scared
Her love was ravaged once again
Or hated, for the love impaired
And in the daylight, morning mist
His eyes once again would dilate
Focusing on the freshest crop
But finding only a yester-date
And he'd remember...
So precious
He would look into her eyes
Say exactly what,
She didn't wanted to hear
He wasn't being rude
Nor quaint
Merely playing
Devil's advocate
