Time.
If that's what you need
then that's what I'll give,

You don't know how badly I wish you were
holding me 
right now,

But because I love you
and respect you 
I'm giving you the distance you want,

No, distance isn't the right word
because you're still right here with me
in my heart,

Am I afraid?
Yes, a little bit, but can I help it?
Wouldn't you be?

Whenever you're ready,  I'll be
right here.
I just hope it's sooner rather than later.
