Forever
The moonlight shimmers on the waves of the shore
As we walk past midnight in the quiet of the moment.
Our shadows reach and merge and pull apart again
As we hold tight to each other while the night paints itself crimson
With every beat of my heart
Salt rides the breeze as heat builds, seen by our steaming breath
And again our shadows softly mingle becoming one.
The roar of the surf fades as the rush of blood grows in my temples
Lips touch, our kiss grows deeper, salty and sweet
Captivating my spirit for you are my only.
Burning the light of dawn deep in my soul,
Overtaken by the color and the heat of passion
And as the gulls cry I feel it all tear apart
Like fog burning away in bright morning sun
And I know once again
We have walked together in our dreams
