You Are Not Alone
No one expects to be hurt
No one expected him to turn so cold
But sometimes people aren't who we think they are
They turn their heads and change their hearts
As women we don't seem to understand them
We innocent can't see through their masks
And until we get hurt and hurt someone else
We will never learn to protect our hearts
It is so easy to give yourself to a man
His whispers of "sweet little nothings"
His soft kisses upon your face
It is so esay to fall in love
Although is easy to fall
Its is so much harder to climb out of his control
You will never forget those nights in the tent
Or those poems he wrote for you
Even his friends didn't see this coming
It is hard to believe that all this time he had us fooled
Maybe there is something none of us are getting
But maybe we don't want to know the whole truth
I have been hurt every time until now
The pain doesn't go away with time
After he is out of your heart and you think he is gone
He will still be playing inside your mind
After the first time a man has lied to you
You can never trust one again
When you find that one that is forever
He in his own special way will earn your love and trust
I know it seems like life is over right now
But it in reality has only begun
I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone
And in more then one way...what he has done...hurts me too
