new Year
The year is gone and over
Everything is going to be in the past, "last Year"
Time is moving on and so should I
So God help me, I have to be strong
And I'm going to put you out of my head before I lose it
And move on, i'm destined to find somebody else, aren't I?
So tonight at 11:50 I'll look up at the stars and remember everything for just 10 minutes
All the months, the talks, the jokes, the games, the fights, the touches, the kisses, the promises, the tears, the poems, everything
Will flash by in my head
I'll put my head on fast forward
And then look at my movie for one last time
And when the clock says it's 12:00 and the firworks light up in the sky
I'll have my peace
And forget
maybe I'll dig up the tape of you and me, some other time
But right now to move on
Is to not think about it and just put my memories away in a box
So I hope you think of me when we go into the year 2001
And not forget everything that happend in 1999 en 2000
I know I wont, I'll just put it away for a while...

And keep on writing
I just want to thank all of you here
Because The poems some of them make me cry some laugh
And I deal with my pain by writing and here I can post them
And I get nice comments that make my day
