Anticipation

There is a feeling that tears, at the edge of my mind
I've got a stomach full of stone-heavy anticipation
And the Sahara seems to have formed, in my mouth
My hands won't stop shaking, and I don't know why
There's a feel to this day, it's coated in stardust
And, still, the sun shines through, through all of this haze
I think there is something abound, something brewing
I can't help but wonder what it is...
What makes me so shakey, what makes me like this?
There is a smile on my face, for no reason at all
"What does this to me?" I call out loud
And the answer comes back to me, like laughter on the wind...
Except the laughter, is not mine, but yours...
