She believed every word, every line…..
So carefully whispered in her ear …….
Allowing his thoughts to enter her heart…..
Lowering her gate to let him in…….
Her guards were saying beware…..
Alarms were sounding in her mind…….
The chemistry was profound……
Honey kisses of a hungry soul……
He met her with flowers of caring ,
With promises of sharing…..
And she believed……
She believed when her mind told her, NO……
Can he love with so little knowledge…….
She needed more time…..
Time he was not willing to allow…..
He was already there……
She was not yet………
Then suddenly …….
He would wait no longer…..
Unwilling to give her time to catch up with him…..
Impatient with her hearts slowness……
True love waits, and lingers, and knows…..
That time will not change the heart…..
But only make it grow……
His words were only sounds in the air……..
