A Valentine Bouquet

Valentine Flowers (Just For You)

Strolling midst my own forest garden,
Sublime nature all around, reminds me of you
I gather forth a wildflower bouquet this Valentine’s Day
Just a bright little handful, to help say just a few
( Thoughts from my heart )
             ( just to you. )

I start with oriental azalea, delicate, pink and rare
It reminds me of the soft silken feel, when I touch your chestnut hair.
Add in bachelor’s buttons next (with a shy little wink)
To remind me that I'm offering much more than you might think
Then comes tiger lilies, lavender by choice,
And one perfect red tulip to give my smile a voice.
A sprinkle of violets to cover up the stems and what not
A bouquet of  love, to which I've given much thought.
And right in the center I added my soul
A single white rose, straight and tall and whole.
This bouquet I give you as my way to say
My heart loves your heart, this Valentine ‘s Day
Take them and keep them, gathered just for you
( Thoughts from my heart  )
                ( just to you. )
