Box of Chocolates
this morning you gave me a heart-shaped box of chocolates
and four black cherry candles and a card
my first Valentine's Day gifts from a lover
(Jay doesn't count!)
I ate all the milk chocolates but saved the dark chocolates
for you
and tonight we'll light the candles
and make a wish on Us.
