A little girl's dream

Once upon a time
When I was a little girl
I longed for a man
Who would fill my entire world

This man would be my partner
He would share all my dreams
I laid awake each night
Wondering about the day
My prince charming
Would finally come my way

Every man I would meet
I would wonder "Are you the one?"
With growing dispair
At the end of each affair
I would wonder
how much more I could overcome?

I've had enough! There all the same!
I pray for more but there all so vain
What's happened to all the good men in this place?
There gone, what's left but so much empty space

Just when I think I'm fine by myself
That I'll make my own dreams,
create my own wealth
I spin in my chair, we lock eyes and I swear

All the heartache, all the pain
All the lies and all the vain
Prepaired me for you
So my heart could be true

Without all the sadness and loss
I could never appreciate the cost
Our love will only grow
Because deep down we both know

There is really just one person
with whom your meant to succeed
And when you find them, hold them,
love them and begin
loving, laughing, and living your dreams.
