A True Friend
A True Friend!
I am sitting here chatting,
Getting more bored by the minute.
I decide time for a change,
So I look for someone else on line.
It really caught my eye,
Topics of conversations that interest you.
Camping, Fishing,and Gardening,
then I saw it Cross Stitching.
I'm thinking to myself,
If you are man enough,
to admit that on line,
You must be pretty special.
I tagged you, smartest thing I did.
You come on line,
Making me laugh and smile,
something I hadn't done in a while.
You made me realize,
With just a few words,
That life wasn't over,
Just because I felt dead inside.
You told me about things you had done,
To and for all your friends,
The pet you gave up,
for a friend who had lost hers.
Sneaking into a church to listen
to a friend sing a solo.
The midnight run too,
Surprising a friend on her birthday.
The financial and emotional support,
for a special friend.
You have known all your life,
Even though it was hard on you financially.
Chatting with you makes my day,
I can tell you anything and everything.
You don't judge, you understand.
All that I have gone through.
You have made me realize,
Alot of things, but mostly,
That life has got to go on.
He isn't coming back, but that is ok.
I have alot more in you,
Then he ever gave me.
Or could have given me. "FRIENDSHIP"
Thank you for being there.
For being a better friend,
then I could have ever hoped for.
I hope you always
Get what you want and deserve.
