What Can make It Good
If I said something different
Even by one tiny word,
Would it make it good?
Is my smile a little
too crooked?
Or my laugh one note off
key?
Tell me
I need to know how to fix
this.
It was once so perfect
it almost shined...
Didn't I show you how
I hung on every word you
spoke?
How just your smile was enough
to make me ache for your arms?
That I found a home in a
spot on your shoulder,
resting my head and my
troubles down
knowing they'd soon
dissapear.
Once I felt safe-
sheltered from that place
in my past
that is known to haunt me-
That place where all is a
memory
And now
You dwell there
And I know nothing can be done
to make this good.
