I thought that the day that I got married
Would be the happiest day of my life...
I thought that the day that I gave birth to my children
Would be the happiest of times....
Maybe, someday they will be...
For I have not now experienced those wonders yet.

God grant me the strength to hold on
Grant me the day when I will feel happiness again
Send me a love no greater than what I can't handle
Send me happiness no less then what I deserve”
A prayer that I said
Everyday...Every nite
Wishing, hoping and praying
That one day I would meet someone like you.
You showed up out of the blue
Just when I needed you
Just when I needed to smile
When I needed a helping hand
When I needed to be held
You were there.
My heart is falling for you
Bringing the rest of me along for the ride
I never want this feeling to end
I want to always feel your arms around me
Hear your voice in my head and my heart
Feel your hand resting gently around mine
And to never have your gentle, warm kisses end
In such a short time
You’ve brought tears of joy to my eyes
Made me feel happier than I’ve ever felt
