The Last Friday Evening
You pulled me closer to the table,
you kissed my beer coated lips.
You inhaled me,
made me taste your breath.
You touched my skin,
made my body shiver.
You caressed my soul,
made my mind sail away,
to places where reality has no name.
You told me words
I would die to hear.
You answered me
always, forever and that it is deep.
You made me feel grateful,
for an existence so sweet so unique.
You made me feel alive,
with the look in your eyes.
Today is Friday again,
I am looking in your beautiful face,
while the sun warms our shoulders
and the cool breeze flows through your hair.
I can't get the answer anymore,
an answer I knew well, an answer from your delicate mouth
for a forbidden question you would not like to hear:
Will you be there?
