NOTE TO SELF:
Quit reaching for something too high
If you were supposed to obtain it
Then you wouldn't fail as often as you do
Quit looking to others to understand you
You may only be a small marble of mystery
But you still don't need everyone else telling you lies
Quit looking back and doubting what you have done
The mistakes you have made are final
Your future is what has not yet been tainted
Quit second guessing yourself every time you make a decision
Think with you heart, stop all the fighting inside your mind
Its not like it really matters which one of them is right
Quit trying to find love in places that it doesn't exist
Start looking on your own level
It hurts too much to play for something you can't win
Quit telling yourself that everything isn't your fault
The truth may hurt, but the pain does end
If you had been stronger from the start, who knows where you could've been
Quit lying in bed crying yourself to sleep
So what if life isn't fair
You are lucky you can even breathe
