If only you knew how it feels
when I whisper your name,
that shimmering glow, that
captures my mind, taking you
with me wherever I go.
Talking to you in my head,
telling you all the things I wish
could be said, in daylight, and
Darlin, the words, when we are
alone by candlelight, soften the
nights darkest moments.
Know how your voice in my ear
leaves me defenseless, your mouth
electric to everything it touches.
Your words capture my spirit as
none have ever before. There is no
one that I run to, the way I run to you.
There is no one I need, the way I need you.
Only one way to love, and that’s the way
that I love you. And oh how I love you!
