the photo

I brought a book of black and white photos by a long dead photographer.
It was a gift for a friend of mine,  who I posed for some time ago.
I took some copies from the book -- I want to paint these images,
one, I've got one hanging on my easel now,
I've not started the painting
but  this picture was taken in the 1920's,
a woman sitting on the edge of a wooden box,
her head thrown back, long wavey hair flowing
down her back to the wooden top she rests on,
her breasts are thrust forward -- and the smooth skin
of her hips, perfectly rounded.
She is beautiful.
I push my hair back off my face, and study her classic lines.
that's how beautiful he makes me feel.
