She Danced

The summer heat settled
  Making the sand cool
The shore breakers left a
  Salty mist in the air
It was late night
The sun set in all it's beauty
Over an ocean of glory

The music never stopped
All through out the night and
The girls danced in their sundresses
  Until they got dizzy

They were all beautiful
  But she stood out
   Off to the side
   Over by the fire
  Away from the others
Almost under glass
  Like a private show

The flames illuminated everything
You could see the sparkle on
    Her legs
     Her hands
    Her shoulders
     Her eyes
Her hair framed her face
  As she danced
It curved it's way
Down her back
Ending in a point
  Leading to the show

She danced for me that night
  She didn't know it
But she did
She made her move as she danced
Through the night she made
  Lots of moves
Moves I still can't forget
From a girl I still look for

God, could she dance
