A Word to The Wise

I have a simple saying
I try to live by; 'Everything
happens for a reason, even
if the reason is not apparent
or understood, doesn't mean
it's not there.' However,
through heartache and tears
I've come to find that there
is never any truth. Truth is
a made up wonderland, built
so people feel better about
all the lies. Lies are the
foundation of all that works.
There is a lie in every so called
"truth" that bears more wait
than the clamed truth. So now
I try and live by a different
saying; "Like math, love is taugh,
however, there are always shortcuts,
and different approaches." Then
I thought even with different
approaches to love it doesn't
work, so I full heartly believe
love does not exist. I pulled
myself from that senseless funk
once trying to convince myself
that it does. I told myself love
does indeed exist, it's just not constant.
At this moment however, I'm back to
where I started not believing at all.
So love it's not real. You can't
touch it, or taste it, just
a lie. A fantasy made up so
little girls have something to
dream about when they are young.
