It was a silly love name
all mine you said,
never called another woman such a thing
you said.
And it shouldn't have bothered me
but the pages fell from my hands
and my heart slammed at me
because suddenly
a blonde woman was wearing the name
you said
was only for me.
you said.
Poetic license maybe.
But that wasn't what you said.
