Alright
I decided today that I'd forget.
About all the pain I've ever felt.
I'll be happy and accept what is.
I'll play it by ear, and be ok with what's dealt.
Today I talked to you,
And without a second thought.
I didn't feel hate or anger.
For a moment I dismissed what's been taught.
It was ok, for me to speak to you.
You didn't tear me down, or break my hope.
I can't remember the last time that happened.
But don't get me wrong, I'm still having to cope.
So for once out of boundry,
my safety net of kinds;
ingonre how I almost lost myself.
And felt the love that blinds.
