Friends on Fire
Laying upon this bed of contemplation
I stare into the heavens blurry eyed
Emotions running quick
With a hint of God's Spirit upon my heart
I review the past to recognize
all that is unoticable to my sight
So much time has passed
yet it feels only like yesterday
when we seen each other for the first time
Only by God can we give thanks
To what he has given us
Closeness uncomparable
Our differeneces are many
However; our love is constant and greater
than the task required to bare the hard times
If others could have such a friend
I would consider them the luckiest of people
You encourage me and that does more for me
than you can ever know is possible.
