I Never Knew

I never knew that god could create such a beautiful person,
As he did the day he made you.

I never knew what I did to deserve you; still don’t,
I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to have you,
Every morning when I wake up,
You’re the only thing I can think about,
You make everyday brighter,
You make my life worth living.

I never knew that I could feel this way about someone,
The way we can speak to each other without words,
The magic I feel when you touch me,
When you kiss me, I get lost into another world,
A world where nothing else matters,
Except for you and me.

I never knew that one person could change my life,
As much as you have mine,
I feel I can do anything in this world,
As long as you are by my side,
You have made me the person I am today,
And I don’t know where I would be without you.

In realizing all of these things about myself,
I realized the biggest thing I never knew,
I never knew that I could love someone,
The way that I LOVE YOU.
