I understand
you don't love me, like the way you used to.
How you used to hold me until I fall asleep in you.
We share our memories,
We share our tears and joy.
You put your head on my laps and make me sing for you.
You brush my hair and smile at the reflection when we stand before the mirror.
Whisper the word of love whenever you look at me.
But as I dial your number today, the phone rang endlessly.
I knew it's a sign.
I saw tonight.
Your smile looks like sun shining upon your face.
You look especially gorgeous tonight.
I saw someone, walking up to you.
You hold on to her, tightly close to you
In a way sweeter than you ever hold me before.
I look at her.
I think I understand why.
Her face and body, symbolizes the perfection of a sculpture.
It's her smile that reflects onto your face that makes you shimmer.
Her hair, falling down her shoulders, softer than silk.
And her voice, drowns everyone else in the crowd.
I don't think I hate her, because I understand.
I understand why you leave me.
I think I can understand why!
She's the goddess send for an angel like you.
I think I can understand.
