My Type

Ok, so you say I don't date any guys that are my type
Maybe your right
That is not my fault
The kind of guy I want doesn't usually want me
You can't have what you can't get
Am I right, you know I am
So here
I will give you a list
You find my "Mr. Right"
And I will give all of myself to him

I need--------a strong man
              someone that won't bend under pressure
              a man that won't stop fighting, when I push him away
              someone I can depend on every night and every day

I need--------a honset man
              someone that won't lie to me
              a man that won't tell me things just cause I want to hear it
              someone that I can trust especially when I am not there

I need--------a kind man
              someone that cares for me
              a man that knows me, better than the palm of his hand
              someone that respects me for my thoughts, dreams, worries

I need--------a good man
              someone that fights for what he believes in
              a man that honors his word
              someone that cares about everyone, not just me

I need--------a funny man
              someone that can make me smile, even when I don't want to
              a man that is willing to goof off
              someone that spends time with me, just to be with me

I need--------a sweet man
              someone that won't forget the little or big moments
              a man that does all the little romantic things
              someone that can make me blush

I need--------a working man
              someone that I can depend on
              a man that is willing to work for the things he wants
              someone that appreciates the work that I have done

I need--------a gentle man
              someone that can hold me when I am hurt
              a man that understands what it means to love
              someone that can heal my broken heart

I need--------a forgiving man
              someone that will forget the past
              a man that will love me, even after I hurt him
              someone that won't give up, every time that it gets hard

I need--------a family man
              someone that I can welcome home
              a man that will be a loving father
              somone that will steer his family in the right direction

I need--------a hopeful man
              someone that looks into the future
              a man that can encourage me
              someone that has faith in everything I do

I need--------a joyful man
              someone that sings life into the air
              a man that can make any kind of music out of chaos
              someone that smiles when he sees me, smiles from the heart

I need--------a thinking man
              someone that is willing to argue
              a man that doesn't back down
              somone that won't agree with every word I say

I need--------a faithful man
              someone that won't leave me
              a man that will look, but never touch
              someone that loves me, and never forget that he is my man

I need--------an active man
              someone that will walk beside me
              a man that cares what happens in my daily life
              someone that won't stand at the sidelines

I need--------a Christian man
              someone that worships God with his whole heart
              a man that has given his all to serving Christ
              someone that pushes me in my spiritual walk

Well I have given you the list
I am sure I have left something out
But my type of guy would be all of these things
I know that if I want to be truly happy
I can't settle for less
He must be everything
He must fit me
He must compliment me
He must finish me
If he does all that, then I guess you can label him "My Type"
