On My Heart's Sleeve
To bathe in his warmth, to smile his smile
To look through his eyes, if just for awhile
To lick my own lips, and find they are his
To learn how he feels, to know how he is
To slide on my slacks, and find him there too
Like siamese twins, connected by glue
He’s in my back pocket, and on my hearts sleeve
He’s there when I go, and there when I leave
In my minds thoughts, most of the day
He tickles my fancy, in all that I say
The reason I smile, when my world starts to crumble
My reason to laugh, when I falter and stumble
To slide neath his arm, and know I belong
For we alone sing, the words to his song.
That I am the melody, that fosters his tune
That he is my star, and I am his moon.
