What If

What if... You know how long I went over every What if? What if you never loved me? What if it was all a lie? I might as well be saying, "What if the sky fell on my head And my head turned blue?" What if, is a waste of time Trust me, I know I've wasted days, filling them with What if's... Forget all that doubt, forget all the unused Possibilities What if, will drain you, as it once drained me What if, will drag you down, as it once pulled me down Forget 'what if', forget 'why me', forget 'if only'... Think not of these things Don't think of all that might have been For now it simply cannot be Stop looking back, and saying what if... Just stop doubting, thinking, analyzing, hypothisizing For it will do you no good, none at all Stop worrying about the unanswered questions Stop filling in that blank, "What if......" Let it all go, just let it go... What if...what if, I could take my own advice???
