Who Cares?
So what if I slip,
So what if I fall.
At least I did it myself,
with no help at all.
Maybe I'm wrong,
And I begin to cry,
At least it's my fault
And I gave it a try.
I am stronger now,
And still you have doubt.
But I don't hold in,
And I know the amount.
I may leap,
Before I look,
And not understand why.
But the questions my friend are not in a book.
I don't need direction,
Or a hane to hold.
I'm my own person,
And I know what I'm told.
Don't worry,
your pretty little head,
I'm a big girl now,
And I know what's been said.
