Hello and welcome to the Easter Edition of the Blender of Love Digest!

Spring is in the air and March was a very good month for new Blender submissions.

The Blender of Love remains as the web's first love poetry open forum, a sanctuary for writers and readers to put on the screen what is on their hearts.

So as always, read, write, and enjoy!
--Kirk, Blender-Keeper

PS If you want to read a great book about the meter and rhyme of poetry, I would suggest Nicholson Baker's The Anthologist.

front page picks

Tough luck
Prescience I
A series of tiny works by Star of David; great and pointed.

Waiting - Crystal
Memory's a traitor.

from "The Difference" - Mary Louise Ritter
There's a touch of Fitzgerald in this.

Swamp Juice - B.K.
A "work in progress" but I dig it.

today - seck
Half-awake nightmare.

Another Brick for another Prick - Farah / twisted_lie
World-weary and torn.

Pillow Talk - Jane Rain
The closing two lines make this work.

Friday 30th March - Ria / peregrine falcon
New hope in spring time.

tell me about lovely - Jane Doe
"Please explain this to me like a 2 year old" was the original comment. Age is a bit on my mind as of late as well.

A Woman's Prayer - HaremGirl
Two charmingly idiosyncratic works...
