Painting the sky with our minds... Splashing crystal hues across the horizon... Clear and crisp the darkness of royal blue tones. As our eyes turn to the east , we sculpture clouds to our fancy. Draping the azure blue with white gauze. Throwing puffs of cotton candy into the wind, they stick to the sky. Laughing and grinning at what we have done. Lying on our backs, gazing above into natures canvas. Clouds become anything our hearts desire. Shapes moving slowly as the breeze changes their form. Turning toward each other, our gaze becomes fixed eye to eye. The sun sparkles in your hair as your lips smile softly at me. Pulling me closer to your tender embrace. My cheek touches the silk of your face. Velvet blanket lies between us and the warm earth. Wings pass over us, and our hearts take flight. Lost for the moment in the feeling. Swept through the miracle of our senses. Warmth of bodies entwined in gentle flowing caresses. The days warmth vaporizes scent from your skin to mine. Parting, I shall smell you in my hair and in my mind. ~ |
