Who says lightning can't strike twice? I know that I've been burned over and over again by the quickness of your passion. You've swept me away and lost me more times than I care to count, but I guess I liked it. The thrill of the chase, staring fear in the face I just couldn't get enough. Like some swansong I worshipped my pain, my sacrifice and endless love for you. That no one else could hold you, like something wild I tried to tame you. Well, it looks like I was the wild one, and now I'm free, so like you I run. |
