You catch glimpses.  And that's all they are, really. Photograph(s) that didn't quite develop. Some people look at me and wonder where I went wrong. Other people stare at me, and wonder why I went wrong. Then there are those who don't see me. Figments of my imagination, who only exist if I allow them to. Then again, their daily activities fuel my world. It's a chaotic gesture, raising fingers into the wind. Why should anyone be inclined to delve into this...this psyche? This patient... But then again, it all comes down to a glimpse. They're with me for all of two seconds and they see something. They're not sure what yet, but they see it. Afraid to seem desperate, they bottle their emotions. Not knowing that all closed bottles flow directly into me. They're unaware. Their emotions are gone...catered to. I shake and stir throughout the night. But they sleep comfortably.

it was more that I was tainted
and that is why I suffer
