the irony hit me the second i saw you when i realized that you are what i've been looking for that you are what i've needed and now i can't have you. that the many boys who have loved me were maybe seeing that same irony in me when i walked into a room. that they can't take your place for me. that no one can. but you're leaving tomorrow. another month on the road and then back to california sun and sand and bleached blonde girls in string bikinis i miss it so much i miss you so much i tried. that's about all i can say. i would like to tell you in so many words as this the things that i couldn't tell you between the "i love yous" and "views" i have to look at. i wanted to tell you that whatever you do you could never make me hurt anymore than you already have. |
