So many people are awarded
Second chances everyday,

It's hard to believe that
It can be so easy,

People just switch gears
And reverse from temptations,

Some people can't handle 
These second chances,

Their stick shift is broken,
And they continue driving towards destruction,

Others can put the gears to work,
And struggle to be good; to do right,

The important part to remember,
To keep in mind from day to day,

Is that All people and ALL situations
Are learning experiences,

Those second chances happen for a reason,
So put the gears into motion,

Because it's harder to veer recklessly around
The sharp corners,

Than to steer down 
The straight roads,

So take advantage of those second chances!
