Did you ever get a big gum ball and bite into it, the saliva just dripping, only to find out, that it's hollow inside ? Ever bite into a mouth watering easter rabbit that you thought was rock solid chocolate, and the chocolate shell crumbles into the empty center? So much like people. There are the hollow gum balls, who look beautiful on the outside. They go through all the amenities of daily living, but they leave others with a feeling of emptiness. Like the stepford wives, they are void of depth. They drive to work, use the rest rooms, eat, drink, sleep, walk, and for all intents and purposes, act appropriately in most situations..... But the deep, intriguing, mysterious, fascinating feelings, just are not there. Then there are the rock solid, interesting, complicated, full of mystery, full of depth, wabbits. Their depth is tangible, you can almost taste it. They float with an intriguing aura, a mystique that could charm a thousand cobras. No matter how long you know them, you always discover new things in them. A never ending journey through their soul. They are so interesting and fascinating, with an all consuming zest for life. Their presence is full of tingling excitement. You my dear, are full of depth, just waiting to be discovered. Treasures buried deep inside you, begging for excavation. And I am just the archaeologist, with a hunger to discover your gems, or perhaps bite into your chocolate wabbit. ~ |
