As I lie here, in my bed alone The moon glowing through my shade Faintly lighting the darkness A dismal shroud of silence The echo of my own breathing Thumping solo heart Matching the clock's beat Sliding to the center Arms and legs outstretched Leaving no empty spaces I have it all Greedily sprawling the expanse The bed is all mine Rolling back and forth Trying to cover all Would I give up this freedom To share Why would I want to?
