Why can't I say no? Why canl't I be mean? When he dropped me off, And asked if I'd like to do this again sometime, I listened to my mouth say yes, While my mind was screaming no, I have to tell him I'm not intersested, Before I hurt him by making him think that I am, I hate being mean, I'm just no good at it, He's such a nice guy, And I hate hurting his feelings, But I won't wait, I will not lead him on, It took a lot of courage just for him to call, And I admire that, But now I need the courage, The courage to say no. |
