Tearful Passion

Tears fall like a waterfall
from the hurt and the agony
of causing and receiving the blows

my bruised naked soul, tattered and
weathered wants nothing more than to fall
into your arms and sit in steamy water
wrapped around each other

What does brute emotion bring
but passion?
Add a few candles and a pitch black sea
and we can hold each hand as we
test the water to swim
All of this pain, and I don't bother touching my toe
to the vast unknown
might as well jump in head-first and see

nectar
drips like molasses from your passionfruit lips
from your body, every gleaming line
softened by moonlight
Your body moves with mine
rhythmically, a primordial dance

From pain and pieces tossed around
and a slew
of super glue
we become one
in our wonderful nakedness
