I can't believe you left like that - Did I really mean so little That you could leave that easily Just drive away without a second thought? I thought I meant more than that to you I thought wrong, I guess. How can I trust you now that you are back? That you could dismiss our time so quickly... It was a stupid argument anyway, How could you abandon "us" so hastily? Did I deserve that callousness? Did I deserve that heartbreak? I did, I guess. What will happen next time we argue Will you run away in haste again? How can I depend on you not to vanish for a second time? You say I turned away from you, But I didn't leave, you did. You didn't want to fight for me I guess. Am I supposed to forget the pain you caused For one excruciating night I died inside! Do you really expect me to trust you - That you won't hurt me again? How could you?? You ask me to trust you, Sure, I guess. |
